Job Summary:
HiHealthCare is seeking dedicated and compassionate Facility Per Diem Nurses to join our team. As a per diem nurse, you will have the flexibility to choose your shifts while providing high-quality patient care in a variety of healthcare facilities. This role is ideal for nurses looking to expand their experience, maintain a flexible schedule, and make a meaningful impact in diverse clinical settings.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Hawaii.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care, long-term care, or facility-based setting preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (additional certifications may be required depending on the facility).
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to adapt to different healthcare environments.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
